This tool doesn't have a magic bullet, but it uses a common investigative technique. It scans a list of historical and common subdomains (like `ftp`, `mail`, `cpanel`, `dev`) associated with the main domain. Often, these subdomains are not protected by the same proxy service (like Cloudflare) and their DNS records point directly to the origin server's IP address. If we find an IP that is different from the main domain's public IP, we list it as a potential origin.

An IP blacklist is a real-time database of IP addresses that have been reported for sending spam, launching cyberattacks, or other malicious activities. When you click the blacklist check links (e.g., MXToolbox, AbuseIPDB), the IP is checked against dozens of these lists. If the IP is listed, it could indicate a poor reputation and may cause issues with email delivery or website access.
